During my recent stay at Ó da Casa in Peniche, I found the balance between luxury and value to be thoughtfully considered. Nestled in the charming old town, the location is ideal-just a short stroll from the marina and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The renovated building maintains the essence of traditional Portuguese architecture. The accommodation features a large kitchen, equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils, along with an electric kettle, which made meal preparation convenient. Each guest room includes a flat-screen TV, a spacious closet, and free toiletries, providing a comfortable and functional space. Despite the absence of air conditioning, the room remained pleasantly cool during my visit. Marta, our host, proved to be an invaluable resource, offering restaurant recommendations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor dining area, coupled with the shared spaces, encourages interaction among guests, enhancing the experience. Ó da Casa provides a cost-effective option without compromising quality, making it a wise choice for travelers.
